What sizes do you carry?

All of the gowns in the shop are samples. When purchasing your gown, your measurements will be taken to ensure the correct size is ordered. Currently, our samples run from bridal size 8-12 (which is sizes 6-10, in "ready to wear" sizes), and a handful of bridal size 16. This may mean that you’ll need some assistance envisioning the fit of your gown. If you’re worried about sizing at all, mention it when you book your appointment. Our designers do make plus size gowns and they can be ordered in whatever size you may need. If you’re petite, you may just need some alterations or you may need to order with custom height measurements. In your appointment, we’ll be able to help you order the exactly what you need! We work hard to curate a selection of designers that create gowns of all shapes and sizes. Trying on wedding dresses should be as easy and comfortable and fun as possible, so we can discuss all options!

When should I start dress shopping?

Honestly, you should have a venue and date set first. It’s so much easier in your wedding look thought process! We recommend to start shopping about 9-12 months prior to your wedding. Most bridal gowns can take up to 4-6 months to arrive. Plus you should allow 8-10 weeks for alterations to ensure your perfect fit. All of Grey Pearl’s designers offer rush orders (as approved, for additional fee). The veils and bridal accessories have a 4-10 week lead time, as they are also made to order.

What and who should I bring to my appointment?

It would extremely helpful to you to wear seamless undies and a strapless (preferably nude) bra. If you plan on some sort of shape wear during your wedding, you may want to think about that as well. Grey Pearl does provide fitting room high heels, but if you already have your wedding shoes—even better to bring them! I also recommend a little makeup (if you wear on a regular basis) and doing your hair—my favorite messy bun isn’t always the best help imagining how you'll look on your wedding day!

We all love our friends and family! That being said, we strongly recommend that you consider your appointment entourage carefully. This is your time to enjoy yourself, and have all energies focused on you. We have room for our brides to bring up to 5 guests.

Will you provide alterations?

As of right now, we do not offer alterations in the gallery. However, we have amazing seamstresses on our recommendation list!

I had the most wonderful experience trying on dresses at Grey Pearl. I felt like she truly wanted to help me articulate and capture my wedding dreams. The dresses were truly unique and gorgeous, the time and care spent on me was precious, and it was an experience I'll never forget!

I was initially worried to come in at all because the price point here is a bit higher than my budget, but Danyelle did a great job showing me what was possible and never even subtly suggested I make my budget larger. I genuinely had a lot of fun doing something I was honestly pretty nervous about. I genuinely feel so good about supporting this woman-owned business that highlights unique, up and coming designers with honorable missions and killer designs.

When I first started looking around I really didn't think I would be able to find my dress in Vegas, but Danyelle's unique shop that highlights emerging and independent designers was exactly the kind of shop I was looking for. Although my bridal experience wasn't as I had always imagined (due to COVID 19), Danyelle gave me the best possible experience given the circumstances. I had a certain dress in mind that was unattainable due to the pandemic but Danyelle pulled dresses she thought I'd love and she was right. She's so nice and helpful. When my shapewear gave me an unflattering line, she even cut my spanx for me at my fitting! If that's not good service, I don't know what is. Thank you!!
